As the Analyst, Business Intelligence, you'll be responsible for designing analytics-based tools which are technically sophisticated yet easy to understand and use by business teams, in support of strategic initiatives and ongoing business processes. You'll develop solutions that leverage and expand upon the company Business Intelligence (BI) platform, with deliverables ranging from description and diagnostic reporting to predictive and prescriptive decision automation. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Enter Identify, lead, and deliver efforts to build reports, visualizations, and dashboards using BI tools and practices
• Design user interfaces, tool screens, and end user workflows to maximize understandability of information, ease of use, and alignment with XPO aesthetic and usability standards
• Continuously improve technical design patterns, workflows, and tools-defining and enforcing standards when necessary to sustain the platform's effectiveness and sustainability; and, experimenting with and promoting adoption of new tools and approaches when appropriate
• Proactively generalize and share technical approaches and best practices among other developers
• Support end users to ensure they have reliable access to and understanding of data

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 or more years' experience in business intelligence and data analytics delivering business solutions that rely on effective availability, usability, and understandability of data and analytical workflows
• Experienced in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), BI Tools (Looker, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), programming languages (e.g. Python,R, Java, Scala, etc.).

It'd be great if you also have:

• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
• 3 years of hands on experience delivering business intelligence and data analytics solutions that involve statistical modeling or machine learning, the use of associated R/Python libraries and tooling, and which emphasize effective design and usability for end users.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Google Big Query
• MBA or master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• R / Python Certifications
• Certified Business Intelligence Professional from TDWI
• Google Cloud Platform Certification a big plus
• Looker certification a big plus
