Job Summary
As a Business Support and Analytics Analyst that is part of the Reliability Experience team within Comcast's Technology, Product and Xperience group, you will design, build, and launch metrics, platforms and processes to support key operational decision making. We are looking for an analyst to join our Business Operations team, which is directly responsible for complex analytical work.

The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience.

Reliability Experience and Global Product Operations, led by James Manchester, SVP and Chief Reliability Officer, is responsible for developing and leading the programs that allow us to deliver on our dedication to providing the best, most reliable network, product, and service experiences, as well as a consistent standard of excellence, across our customer base, inclusive of those from Sky and our syndication partners. This group also partners closely with Xfinity Growth, Innovation, and Experience (XGIE), our residential consumer business unit, and the field to develop solutions that allow us to grow market share in unique channels, including multi-dwelling units, retail and higher education campus environments.

About the Team/Role

The Business Support and Analytics Analyst will leverage analytical and communications skills to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout the Reliability Experience organization. You will work hand in hand with the other members of the technology and product group as well as partnering closely with across many different organizations in the business -- e.g., engineering, finance, field support, and more. You will have the opportunity to drive innovation and build business cases to influence the Reliability Experience roadmap and key initiatives.

You will establish core operational metrics, produce financial modeling and drive process improvements through analysis. The business support and analytics analyst is also responsible for building and coordinating executive presentation materials for Reliability Experience leadership team. The ideal candidate has experience with operational projects and possesses exceptional analytical, cross-functional, and communication skills. This role will require a bias toward taking action in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial modeling and support for business cases and strategical options across programs and processes.
  • Operate as a self-starter with strong business acumen
  • Build and develop analytics with actionable insights to assist with Reliability Engineering
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources. Must be able to ensure results are easily understood by all levels of the organization and presented in an actionable format
  • Help develop and maintain key performance indicators
  • Perform deep dives to determine root causes behind metric variances over a given period of time
  • Partner with Senior Leaders, peers and other internal stakeholders to propose and implement business decisions


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • Generally requires 4+ years of experience in a business analyst, finance analyst or data analyst role
  • Experience in business or technical operations preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Tableau and SQL preferred.

Compensation
Pay Range: $72,978.08-109,467

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
