What you will be doing

Under the direction of the Legal and Compliance Technology Architect, the Business Systems Analyst role is responsible for acting as the IT contact for a particular business unit in support of an Enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Tool. Analyst will support requirements gathering, design, configuration and testing. Working with key technical stakeholders and analytical peers to provide best possible outcome for the business. CLM is an up and coming technology in the Enterprise Technology space and this is a fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a tech stack growing at a rapid pace.

The Business Systems Analyst will:

• need to be comfortable working both individually and collaboratively with development team and other Analysts.
• be exposed to technical capabilities as well such as Salesforce and other Integrations, Azure SSO, SQL, APIs, and BI Reporting.
• be a key contact for support and will be responsible for maintaining SLAs around incident and defect management.
• be responsible for maintaining enhancement backlog and working with business partners to prioritize changes.
• Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
• Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity
• Work directly with clients to understand the individual needs of the business
• Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion

Ideal candidate has an analytical and process oriented mindset, an agile learner and interested in solving business problems with technical solutions.

• Interviews business areas for the purpose of defining business needs and priorities and assists the business owner by translating these needs into functional specifications by performing further analysis.
• Assumes primary responsibility for analysis and documentation of cost benefit analysis in preparation of business case for new development projects.
• Manages work plan to ensure the timely completion of functional specifications for either new systems or major enhancements.
• Develops proposals that will provide the most appropriate solutions to solve a business need.
• Analyzes and evaluates projected workflow improvements and cost reductions attributable to new or improved systems to ensure that they are achievable.
• Prepares or oversees the preparation of preliminary user requirements as well as documentation materials for all delivered systems.
• Participates in requirements inspections.
• Assists in the post-implementation analysis to review and evaluate if the requirements were fulfilled.
• Assists in the development of training programs and materials that will assist the end users and customers in better utilizing new or enhanced applications.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
