About the Role
Analyst, CBU Controlling will reside in Japan Finance business partner team and will provide analytical support to Managers regarding Business Case compilation and maintenance, operation controlling, budget planning, forecast planning and analysis.
Your Team
Analyst, CBU Controlling will directly report to the Sr. Manager, CBU Controlling and will collaborate with Japan Automotive Finance and Accounting team of approximately 6.
What You Will Do
- Be part of the multi-national collaboration team, conduct compilation and maintenance of financial model of long-term projects (Business Case) for Japanese OEM.
- Reflect business situation, terms, conditions and their changes to Business Cases to maintain precise prospects of long-term financial overview of the organization
- Track Bill of Material and update forecasted to maintain quality of long-term forecast.
- Business partnering with sales team to resolve topics with obvious/potential financial impact.
- Support and maintenance of general ledgers and financial statements related to sales
- Coordinate and administer controls for operations ensuring procedures and controls are appropriate and functioning to produce reliable, accurate, and timely financial results for sales related topics and other as necessary
- Support and own the relevant monthly accounting close and reporting process, insuring reports are timely, accurate, and understood
- Maintain and discusses Cost Center reports with sales team members of the management team
What You Need
- B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in relevant Finance role
- Experience working in a multi-national environment
- Fluent in Japanese & English in speaking, reading and writing
- Strong analytical, excel skills, communicative skills

What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 5%, domestic only OR domestic and international travel
- Be willing to work in Akihabara and Ariake office in Tokyo, Japan
- Successfully complete a background investigation/aptitude test as a condition of employment
