Amplify is seeking an Analyst, Corporate Development. This position will report to the Director of Corporate Development.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute on M&A opportunities - including: sourcing, due diligence, and transaction execution
  • Analyze new market opportunities
  • Identify and develop potential acquisition candidates based on defined strategic criteria
  • Evaluate acquisition opportunities and coordinate due diligence efforts
  • Assist with writing investment memorandums that encapsulate feedback from leaders across Amplify and summarize opportunities for Amplify's board of directors and major investors
  • End-to-end transaction execution
  • Manage capital raising activities and investor relations- including: investor presentations, fundraising process management, due diligence, and reporting to current shareholders

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (e.g., M&A, due diligence, or capital raises)
  • Background in venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or consulting
  • Basic understanding of finance and accounting
  • Experience working in Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior work experience in education or education adjacent markets
  • Attention to detail & focus- You are both able to dive deep on granular analysis, and to contextualize that work in the larger arc of a project.
  • Strong work ethic- You are dedicated and willing to put in the effort to accomplish a task.
  • Desire to learn - You are innately curious and driven by a desire to learn.
  • You take responsibility - You are able to take responsibility and be accountable for set outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills - Both in-person, orally and in writing/presentation materials. This is a high profile role where you'd gain exposure to Amplify's key senior employees, shareholders, business partners, and potential investment-acquisition targets.
  • Skillful and thoughtful process management - You possess the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth and efficient progress.


What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
