[CERTIFICATION/EDUCATION:] Bachelor degree in computer science or MIS, CS or Engineering PRIORITY [EXACT EXPERIENCE:] Minimum Essential qualification (in priority order) ? 6 years experience in application support function. ? 4 years experience with Maximo performing technical development. ? 2 year experience with Maximo version 5 or 6. ? Experience developing Actuate reports. ? Experience with MEA development and support. ? Experience developing PL/SQL stored procedures. ? Excellent attention to detail and task closure ? Excellent development practices to support high quality software changes. ? Excellent communication skills ? Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Preferred qualifications ? Familiarity with electric power generation or industrial maintenance practices ? Experience with reporting tools including Crystal, Business Objects ? Experience supporting Datasplice or other mobile solutions ? Experience in a multi-application integrated environment ? Experience in running Maximo over a WAN with or without Citrix ? Experience in running Maximo in a Citrix environment ? Experience configuring and tuning BEA Weblogic ? Experience with Oracle 10g ? Experience integrating Maximo with PeopleSoft Financials ? Experience with Maximo linked documents ? Experience integrating Maximo with PI ? Experience integrating Maximo with Primavera [JOB SIZZLE:] [MIN YRS EXPERIENCE:] 6 [RESPONSIBILITIES:] * Develop system enhancements such as presentation changes, database changes, workflow changes, configuration changes, MEA integration changes, Oracle stored procedures changes, Actuate reports, Business Objects reports in a Maximo version 6 environment. * Provide production support and resolve user issues with system performance, availability and functionality. On call support is rotated on a weekly basis between team members. * Follow all change management processes and procedures per Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. * Expand on the business requirements provided to you and define a complete technical solution. Implement defined technical solutions per development standards. Coordinate and facilitate testing of implemented solutions by the business analysts. Coordinate with business analysts on change management of any business process impacted by the change. * Work with business and technical staff to perform root cause analysis on critical issues. * Manage personal time and to meet deadlines for assigned projects and tasks. Document changes implemented and report status of assigned tasks on a regular basis. * Continually review overall system integrity and performance and generate enhancement requests to be reviewed and approved by the user community. * Review and continually improve software development practices, capabilities and effectiveness of the Maximo development team.
