About the role

Join our dynamic team to support the International Tax Manager of Europe, TSA for Southern Europe. You’ll manage statutory, insurance, and tax obligations in Italy, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Collaborate on statutory, insurance, and tax matters for Group member countries, and work with outsourced service providers. Stay ahead of current and future laws impacting our operations.

About the Team/Department

You’ll report directly to the International Tax Manager of Europe, TSA for Southern Europe.

Responsibilities:

• ·Keep our financial statements and records accurate and compliant with SC Johnson policies.
• Ensure Italian statutory books are updated and printed on time.
• Prepare and file environmental taxes for Italy, and support third-party outsourcing.
• Oversee daily financial activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, legal, and SOAR requirements.
• Manage withholding and other indirect taxes for Italy.
• Maintain statutory fixed assets in line with Italian GAAP.
• Control the storage of tax documentation, supporting electronic storage projects.
• Coordinate data for statistical and Central Bank reporting, working with SSC or outsourced firms.

Experience you’ll bring:

• Degree in Business Administration/Finance or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in statutory and corporate tax reporting within a multinational or medium/large consulting company.
• Quick learner of internal financial systems, adept at answering financial statement questions.
• Proficient in building relationships across functions in an international context.
• Team player with a dynamic and curious mindset.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Excel.
