The Impact You Will Make

• To succeed in this role, you must be innately curious, deeply analytical, highly driven, and a strong communicator.
• Partner deeply with business leaders across Technology, Product, Logistics, Care, and Fraud using data to discover and analyze problems and implement solutions
• Prepare and Monitor KPIs daily, weekly & monthly, investigating underlying causes of variances, and highlighting trends to the Executive and Senior Teams
• Perform advanced analytics to better understand the critical drivers of Fraud, Care, and Logistics - including but not limited to diner behavior, restaurant relationships, and driver policies
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leads
• Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends, and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit

About the Team:

• This role reports to the Finance Analytics Manager directly supporting the priorities and objectives of the Director and Managers; specifically supporting Care Insights and Operations.
• The Finance Analytics team sits on a larger centralized Finance in the organization to create and instill a level of analytical expertise

What You Bring to the Table

• BA/BS in an analytical discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role
• Clear and concise communicator to peers, management, and stakeholders with demonstrated ability to identify business goals and metrics, with financial impact
• Experience with Mathematical Modeling
  
  • Linear regressions, time series analyses, operational forecasting
• Technical Requirements
  
  • Proficiency in data analysis & modeling
  • Intermediate SQL skills (aggregations, date & string manipulation, complex joins)
  • Tableau & Excel (or Looker / other data visualization tools)
