The basic requirements are a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (we need to be able to tell you like numbers!), some work experience (preferably at least one year ), preferably if you have worked in clinical trial research, and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

This position will work with Post-Award Clinical Trial activities. The Financial Analyst is an essential member of the DaVita Clinical Research finance team. We are a renal research site network with a spectrum of services for clinical drug research and device development. For 30 years we have helped 500+ clients with their development projects. From centralized research services in an integrated, coordinated care delivery model with primary care and multispecialty physicians, we can help plan and execute your next trial.

This position is responsible for supporting process improvements, metric/report development, and special projects to ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

1. Invoicing and Collections for DCR Clinical Trials; for collections, work with sponsors and site staff to remedy any outstanding disputes and create monthly collection reports for past-due invoices.

2. Review of Cash, Cash Posting to CTMS, Updating Cash, and Unallocated Cash Reports.

3. Month-end activities, Including Running Revenue and Expense Reports, Study Roll Forward Reconciliation, and investigating any variances between CTMS and the GL, and will prepare refund requests when instances of customer overpayments are confirmed.

5. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned include but are not limited to:

o Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

o Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

o Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the phone and in email

o Lead or assist with special projects and duties as assigned
