Position Description:
The Analyst, Financial Operations is highly visible and critical position being added to the Finance function at Capital Rx, who will be providing support to for all ancillary services, clinical programs, and other upsell services for Capital Rx. This role will play an important role in defining, build out, and expand the other PBM services for the enterprise. This will include data mining, KPI creation and management, and operational work flows for departments. This person will help provide valuable insight that will be used to assess the performance of Capital Rx and drive change within the company.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee analytics to support ongoing operations needs
- Collaborate with department leaders from key functional areas (contact center, client services, clinical operations) to design, refine, automate, and maintain data analytics for invoicing purposes
- Develop ad hoc and standard reports to support internal and external analytics and reporting needs
- Manage workflow for inbound and outbound data requests, reporting deliverables, and other inquiries
- Clean, collect, organize, and draw insights from client, vendor, and internal data β using SQL, Excel, R, and/or Python, as appropriate β to support the Finance team
- Assist in the writing and maintenance of the Finance SQL queries and maintain relevant partner pricing list as needed
- Thoroughly understand data fields, identify patterns of data irregularities, and improve data quality and intake
- Assist with finance function consisting of bi-monthly AR/AP cycles, quarterly rebate processes, annual reconciliations and improve processes as needed
- Help in building out and codifying Ancillary billing structures, refining and automating processes
- Suggest process refinement and collaboration enhancement for data and other related underwriting items
- Provide ad-hoc analytics as needed to support finance team in successful completion of all bid opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate bachelorβs degree, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business
- Advanced degree preferred, but not required
- PBM / health plan experience preferred
- 3+ years of proven experience in data & analytics, financial analysis
- Experience performing complex analyses on large sets of data
- Knowledge of data management, statistics, modeling
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data
- Proficient in SQL and excel; knowledge of Python and/or R, SAS a plus
- Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
- Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
