Purpose of Role:
The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for providing reliable data and analysis to be used in monthly financial reporting and analysis. You will prepare accurate monthly financial reports and assist in the development of models and dashboards that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute monthly payout reports for internal brokers.
- Prepare, analyse and distribute monthly customer profitability reporting.
- Create internal dashboard for customer profitability reporting.
- .Update variance analysis reports and financial models and enhance models when possible
- Analyse monthly financial results and investigate inconsistencies and variances.
- Produce daily reports as required.
- Assist in the month-end close process (reporting / consolidation activities).
- Seek opportunities to automate the financial reporting processes
- Â Assist with ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests.
- Assist with various ad-hoc projects, analysis and process improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Excel modelling required
- Experience in Essbase/ SmartView and PeopleSoft software preferred
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot and Tableau preferred
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting processes, procedures and GAAP.
