Brookfield Properties develops and operates real estate investments on behalf of Brookfield Asset Management - one of the largest alternative asset managers in the world. From office to retail, logistics to multifamily, and hospitality to development, we work across sectors to bring high-quality, sustainable real estate to life around the globe every day.
We are seeking an Analyst to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York city. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare presentations that reflect the key strategic initiatives for the Company's Northeast US portfolio of office properties, developments, and regional corporate entities
- Communicate timelines and deliverables to regional teams
- Track deliverables from regional teams and input into presentation slides
- Prepare quarterly valuation templates and presentations for operating and development assets
- Utilize financial models and property-level information to complete quarterly income statement forecasts with meaningful comparison to business plan and forecast-to-actual analyses
- Actively participate in various group initiatives and special projects pertaining to both operating and development assets
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with strong GPA
- 0-1 years of related experience
- Possess clear, concise, and effective written/verbal communication skills that drive high quality, accurate results
- Ability to develop strong rapport with stakeholders and build an organizational network to achieve objectives
- Employ excellent interpersonal skills for effective team communication and project management
- High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven investigative, solution, and detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic, fast paced environment while handling multiple projects
- Highly motivated with the capability to work independently and as a team in a deadline driven environment

Salary Type: Exempt
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Annual Base Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000
Medical & Pharmacy Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan
Dental Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan
Vision Coverage: Yes, under Brookfield Medical Plan
Retirement: 401(k)
Insurance: Employer-paid life & short/long term disability
