Primary Purpose: The FP&A Analyst role will support Stuart Weitzman brand leaders in achieving their business initiatives and financial targets in the areas of Capital Planning, Depreciation, and HQ overhead expense. Analyst will also support domestic and international wholesale teams as their financial business partner. This person will report to the Sr. Manager, FP&A.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in FP&A to analyze month-end results, support corporate reporting requirements and managing the monthly and quarterly forecast, annual operating plan and long range planning process.
- Forecast / AOP / LRP
- Assist with the development of monthly and quarterly forecast, annual operating plan and long range planning processes for Global Capital & HQ
- Build and consolidate the monthly forecast for Capital & Depreciation through partnerships with business leaders and collaboration with FP&A team members
- Collaborate with wholesale sales and operations teams to build out gross shipment plan
- Partner with various teams to forecast design and consulting fees based on contracts and payment schedules
- Setup PO's and process invoices for payment as required.
- Compile backup documentation and detailed bridges to help influence decision making and inform leadership of underlying trends
- Partner with FP&A peers to assist with the consolidation of the Global Stuart Weitzman AOP and LRP to deliver an integrated financial business plan according to corporate deadlines
- Month End Close
- Liaison with Accounting / Control to reconcile components of financial results, analyze variances vs. plan / LY and report consolidated financial results
- Conduct monthly and cumulative variance analysis; incorporate actual results into financial forecast
- Provide business insight to Tapestry business partners as needed
- Reporting
- Responsible for reporting Capital and HQ spend to drive business decisions
- Review project level spend with business leaders on a monthly basis
- Develop and distribute reporting for all HQ Spend
- Drive initiatives to streamline processes, maintain and improve upon existing reporting
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting packages for SW and Tapestry leadership
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or quantitative area preferred
- 1+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Analysis or related field preferred
- Advanced financial modelling and Microsoft Excel skills
- P&L Budgeting/Forecasting experience, with an emphasis on building driver-based forecasts
- Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple levels of the business
- Ability to develop strong financial partnerships across the business and be a team player
- Strong attention to detail
- SAP experience is a plus
