Summary
The Analyst, Accounting position will validate, analyze, and confirm revenue and cost, and perform month-end closing. In addition, this position will prepare reports and support various analyses.
Responsibilities
- Month-End Closing
- Analyze detailed service completion data from ITMS or VELES and determine "SB (Should be)" revenue and cost according to accrual base by cut-off
- Prepare revenue and cost accruals by service month Analyze periodical trend including YOY, QOQ, and MTM
- Simulate direct margin and perform P&L analysis before finalizing book and revisit worksheet or SAP data if required
- Perform semi closing to recognize revenue and cost what have been accrued previous month
- Verify and apply AR/AP rate updates, new contracts, or any other changes in customer/vendor contract
- Secondary
- Review detailed service completion data and verify if revenue and cost are recognized correctly to comply with US GAAP and IFRS
- Analyze service activities and verify any unbilled activities
- Advise HQ operation or local operation to prevent delinquency and improve billing / IT system process
- Perform data reconciliation between SAP and operational system, such as ITMS / VELES, etc.
- Review and post revenue and cost transaction in SAP according to internal accounting policy
- Reporting & Analytics
- Support and prepare various P&L analysis monthly, quarterly, and yearly comparing to previous month and business plan
- Support Red folder Analysis - provide P&L analysis for customer/vendor contact updates
- Support ACCT management team, GKR, and Auditors with various reports or analysis
Compensation
$52,000- $56,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
- Good accounting knowledge/background preferred preferred
- Proficient with PC skills: Excel &Word required
- Proficient with PC skills : PowerPoint, SAP, Power BI preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Detail-oriented and organized required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 0 - 1Years of Direct Experience in Accounting and/or Finance
- 2 - 5 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
