Analyst - Global Trade/Supply Chain

• Building and maintaining business relationships with relationship managers, credit, operations, compliance, risk management, product management and other key stakeholders to IBTF.
• Provides pricing support to sales colleagues and IBFT colleagues to secure maximum profitability.
• Learn the fundamentals of the Trade and Supply Chain Finance business
• Analyzes various trade and export finance market trends, research various industry segments to identify potential opportunities to pitch IBTF products and services. Analyzes, interprets and communicates market developments and trends to salespersons, relationship managers, and assigned client portfolio.
• Utilize available resources to assist the sales specialists, managers and IBTF manager in making sound credit and risk management decisions and recommendations as well as preparing and delivering clients pitches, presentations and the broader IBTF strategy
• Build skills in sales origination and closing trade and export finance transactions
• Expand understanding of credit underwriting deals where a trade or supply chain finance facility is part of the credit package to a client
• Manage all aspects of structuring, negotiating and transaction execution and management including, adherence to portfolio monitoring and escalation as per established processes within agreed Risk and Control frameworks. With supervision from the Structured Trade Finance (STF) Manager, work with trade credit insurance brokers and other insurers and guarantors to source trade credit insurance, including its availability and pricing, manage payment of insurer premiums, obtain LC outstanding from Trade Operations and look for trends for sales specialists, and generate reports and send to brokers or insurers, effect payment to brokers/insurers
• EXIM Working Capital Guarantee Program - Partner with STF Manager to prepare standard documentation for new and renewed WCG loans, utilize the EXIM Electronic Loan Management System (ELMS) to process new and renewed WCG loans, partner with STF Manager to respond to EXIM requests for documentation / information associated with EXIM Delegated Authority Lender Portfolio Examinations.
• Maintain STF / Trade / SCF files in the International Shared Drive
• Completes all special projects as requested.

Must-Have*

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 1 years banking experience
• Minimum 1 years financial analysis/underwriting experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills sufficient to interact with all levels of bank personnel and customers required.
• Understanding of international trade policy an the impact it has on various types of economies
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Computer literacy required including market transaction systems approved by CNB
