Talent (HR) Information Systems Operations is responsible for providing both strategic guidance and tactical support in the administration and support of policies, procedures, and systems, in support of the NRG Human Capital Management (HCM) vision. Members of the organization will act primarily as internal consultants who are responsible for representing the business in terms of the following activities: understanding and communicating business requirements, assuring policies and procedures are followed, and systems are being used in accordance to the rules and structures as designed. The Talent (HR) Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance, design, testing and configuration of SuccessFactors system with a primary focus on Employee Central, Recruiting and Onboarding and will be secondary support for Compensation. In addition the analyst will support the design and testing for the SAP HCM Personnel Administration, Organization Management, Time / Payroll and integrations with third party systems. The Talent Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for the successful delivery of HCM technology process deliverables for the projects they support. The incumbent will collaborate with Talent centers of excellence, IT, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend and implement solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for providing quality deliverables in a fast-paced, growing Organization. The position reports to the Talent Information Systems Manager and is a collaborative partner with the leadership in the Talent centers of excellence, Information Technology (IT) management, and associated vendors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead projects to ensure functionality is developed in a way that complies with business requirements and established methodologies & practices.
- Troubleshoot functional problems in SuccessFactors and SAP HCM modules and other application software when issues arise.
- Lead SuccessFactors and SAP configuration changes for production support, enhancements, upgrades or half-yearly releases.
- Direct the business process analysis, creation of business requirements documents, and testing for projects and all system changes.
- Configure SuccessFactors modules based on requirements in the business requirements documents.
- Develop reports in SuccessFactors for the business to support HR operations.
- Develop business relationships and integrating activities with other departments to ensure successful implementations.
This role is Remote in the United States.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience with configuration and support of SuccessFactors modules, primarily Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Reporting and Analytics
- Analytical and solutions-oriented; ability to solve complex problems.
- Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide guidance to HR Leadership in the administration of SuccessFactors and SAP HCM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with SAP PA/OM and SAP Payroll/Time and will understand the integration of these modules with SuccessFactors and Benefits is a preferred.
- Experience required in 3rd party interface design and maintenance.
- Experience with Ticketing support systems and issue close-out.
