Analyst - I, Trade Settlements - Nuveen Global Investment Operations
This role for Settlements team primarily focuses on Non-US settlements of Equity & Fixed Income securities. The successful candidate will be an experienced, energetic and contributing member of a highly driven group of professionals focused on settling international equity & fixed income trades and all additional intricacies that are involved with market set-up and re-registration/renewal. The global function, that the incumbent will be part of, manages local market investments for all of TIAA Investment's & Nuveen Asset Management's Public Fixed Income & Equity portfolios
Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Having good knowledge and experience in dealing with equity, bonds and derivatives financial instruments
• Meet and exceed internal/market/regulatory SLAs
• Maintain settlement data across various platforms for all accounts and brokers
• Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
• Work directly with IT or vendors to resolve any technical issues
• Work directly with various global custodians, brokers, and corporate action teams to facilitate any extraordinary settlement issues
• Coordinate data set-up for new markets
• Coordinate and liaise with global custodian on local market renewals and re-registrations
• Research and respond to ad-hoc inquiries on discrepancies – position breaks, price

Educational Requirements

• Vocational and/or Technical Education Preferred

Work Experience

• 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
