This is a role within CGI's IT Information Services. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) collaborate with business stakeholders, understand business processes, and elicit, define, and analyze requirements; (ii) design, configure, develop, test, implement, support, and maintain BI applications that enable business processes, focused on SAP BI and related applications. Requires a minimum 3 years' experience in Information Technology, preferably in BI/Analytical applications development or configuration and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support analytical and Business Intelligence applications that enable Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Operations, Distribution, Sourcing and related business processes, focused on SAP BI/BOBJ and related applications
• Understand business processes information, Metrics/KPIs and Data analysis and document BI business requirements
• Define and design proposed reporting and analytical solutions that meet requirements and follow best practices
• Collaborate with BI application developers to create functional specifications for analytical developments
• Create test cases for analytical use cases and system functions; execute tests; analyze and resolve defects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to create documentation and training materials; support training delivery
• Support production systems; proactively work to analyze and resolve production problems in a timely manner; resolve end user service requests; participate in production support processes including identification of issue severity, root cause, and path to resolution
• Identify opportunities to leverage information and analysis to improve business processes, and support business digitization efforts
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
• Protect CGI's reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Information Technology, preferably BI/BW development
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with SAP BI and Business Objects including hands-on development
• Minimum 3 years working with business processes related to Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Operations, Distribution, Sourcing. Preferably in a high volume discrete manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong skills in data analysis, Business Performance Management, Data Reconciliation and problem analysis, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution.
• Working knowledge of analytics and BI development lifecycles and how to take a solution from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment including release and change management.
• Solid business requirements analysis skills and ability to identify alternative solutions to business analysis problems.
• Solid data analysis skills and ability to translate business analytics and reporting needs into specific requirements and report/visualization designs.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders; collaborate effectively.
• Ability to estimate work efforts consistently and accurately; manages own time to meet estimates and project deadlines
• Communicates clearly in both written and verbal communications; able to explain technical solutions to a business person.

• Able to travel occasionally domestically

Preferred Qualifications
Education/Certifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science

Experience:

• Experience with companies who have vertically integrated manufacturing and supply Chains
• Experience in global environments
• Experience with Sales and Operations Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, Manufacturing Scheduling, Materials requirements planning, Quality and Global Sourcing
• Experience with SAP APO, IBP, SCN.
• Experience with PkMS, SCI
• Experience with SAP SAC, Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
