Title:  Analyst II, Claims

Location: Treehouse / Remote
 

Role Description:

As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with rebuilding our claims data model, developing systematic approaches for evaluating data quality, and partnering with data science where needed to provide guidance on using claims data for machine learning models. A significant part of this role involves taking claims information and generating useful insights about what actually happened to our patients. This is critical to ensure that we are effectively targeting our operational levers towards patients that need them most. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Partner with Product and Data Engineering to update our claims data model

• Map data from current and existing payors to our canonical data model

• Develop data quality testing strategies on payor data

• Develop reports related to claims data

• Work with Product and Data Engineering to implement Master Data Management (MDM) on clinical domains related to claims (Admissions, ED visits, Prescription fills)

What are we looking for?

• BS in an analytic area (Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Business, etc.)

• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare claims experience

• Passionate about working in the healthcare space for a mission driven organization

• Data driven mindset

• Comfort working with SQL or Python

• Naturally curious, independent, and eager to learn new things

• US work authorization

• Someone who embodies being 'Oaky'
