We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As a QC Analyst II you will be accountable for quality analyses/ inspections with standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance at our Fort Worth North Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications.
• Identifies ongoing quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement.
• Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products.
• May work from flow charts, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
• LV8 stage approvals/master data
• raw data review
• sample log-ins
• weekly analyst assignments
• sending samples out to contract labs
• assisting with investigations
• generating POs, LV8 queries, and LV8 reports

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• Work hours: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
