AES Clean Energy is looking for a new Sr. Analyst for the Infrastructure team, reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure.

The candidate can be located in Dayton, Salt Lake City, Louisville or remotely.

What will make you a successful candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related subject or 3-7 years administration and engineering of Information technology and infrastructure.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Windows server and desktop OS.
  • Active Directory, File Services and permissions, MS SQL and Availability Groups, DNS, and DHCP.
  • VMware management, hypervisor, VM operations, Horizon UAG and Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
  • Storage technologies, Synology NAS and fiber channel arrays.
  • Linux Operating Systems.
  • OS Hardening VMware and Windows.
  • General understanding of switching, vlans, protocols and firewalls, Cisco and Cisco-Meraki hardware.
  • Datacenter operations and management of HVAC, electrical system/utilization and physical space allocation.
  • Google Cloud Platform.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability and willingness to take initiative and champion process improvement.
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills, diplomacy and facilitation skills covering large and small groups.
  • Delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Understanding of Datacenter Environmental systems including UPS, Power Distribution, HVAC, and efficient equipment placement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, VMware, Storage and Cisco products.
  • Experience developing projects for the current and future state of an environment.
  • 30% travel to support remote network, server, and storage environments.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $60.000 and $76.500/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
