We have an exciting growth opportunity for an Investor Relations Analyst in our Boston office. This person will report directly to the Managing Director of Investor Relations, the Investor Relations Analyst will support the Investor Relations team on reporting, material creation, projects and requests related to current and prospective institutional investors. He/She will also work with many other teams at Cabot support these IR initiatives as well. This person will be a highly resourceful team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. He/she will be able to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, possess excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, display strong organizational skills, foster collaboration, and know how to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The person in this position must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and diplomacy regarding all Cabot Properties, L.P. and Cabot Properties, Inc. information.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the IR team with reporting to its current investors as well as on all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle with a particular focus on the following:

  • Update marketing materials on a quarterly basis including roadshow, Fund updates, due diligence as well as ad hoc deck.
  • Facilitate creation of quarterly report packages for current investors. Create departmental ask sheets and work closely with accounting, asset management, finance, and investment teams in preparing information.
  • Support fundraising by updating the Sales Forces based CRM based on prospecting activities, data uploads, research and reports.
  • Complete recurring and prospective investor DDQs leveraging internal content management system Qvidian.
  • Support client relations professionals in completing investor requests, including both qualitative and quantitative deliverable.
  • Support all aspects of the Annual Meeting, including material preparation and logistics and preparation surrounding the event.
  • All other tasks as directed

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Graduating seniors or limited work experience (1-3 years), preferably with client services within a consulting, investment or banking
  • Positive attitude and sense of humor
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Power Point and graphic design skills, InDesign a plus
  • High level proof-reading and editing capabilities required
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with Excel experience
  • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment while handling multiple projects
  • Personal and professional integrity of the highest order

  • The job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting most of the time
  • Approximately 90% of this position’s duties require use of a computer
  • Travel related to investor meetings and conferences
