Analyst, Invoicing Operations (Hybrid)

Workrise is hiring a Analyst, Invoicing Operations to support inhouse and outsourced high-volume day-to-day invoicing operations. This position leverages data and reporting to identify opportunities for process improvement and prioritization. The Invoicing Operations Analyst collaborates with cross functional teams to improve effectiveness and ensure compliance of the systems and documentation for various processes impacting invoicing operations.
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our corporate HQ office in downtown Austin, Texas.
What you’ll be doing:
Analysis and documentation:
- Executes all post processing audits to validate invoice accuracy - 3rd party submissions, timely filing terms, NRC.
- Creates, measures, and reports on key AR metrics.
- Identifies areas which need to be monitored and analyzed on a consistent basis.
- Leverages invoicing data to identify and recommend process improvements in the areas including, but not limited to, training, customization, automation ad enhancements, to maximize value and efficiency of the internal invoicing tools.
- Prepares reports and presents findings and recommendations ith respect to invoicing accuracy.
- Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation as needed.
- Creates invoices in NetSuite for non-standard process and strategic customers as needed.
System and process improvement:
- Collaborates with analysts and staff to plan, modify, and customize systems and test new application(s) and features
- Coordinates UAT of invoicing related changes and enhancements to the invoicing system(s)
- Supports the preparation of business requirements, test scripts and schedules to support new programs, system upgrades and/or enhancements
- Maintain and document relevant policies and procedures, build process flow maps that tie back to standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Develop tools to automate manual tasks completed by Invoice Operations.
- Provides system/user training and support for the invoicing operations team.
Business Trends and Mentoring:
- Stays abreast of current and emerging industry trends and best practices in the marketplace, especially in areas of Accounting, general finance, invoice operations, and our company industries.
- Makes data-driven recommendations to management regarding processes, observations, etc. to increase Workrise’s competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Leverage reporting tools to continually improve insights and trends to business partners.
- Provides support and may mentor to others on the team, sharing insights, knowledge, and experience.
What you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or other relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years general professional experience
- Experience using NetSuite accounting software or similar ERP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced knowledge with Excel and G-Suite
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to complete and communicate analysis and findings
- Exceptional attention to detail with a pride for executional excellence
- Team player that is always willing to pitch in and lend a hand as needed.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Invoicing, Accounting or related field
- Bilingual, especially in Spanish
- Experience in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment
