Analyst, IT Sourcing

You can join our team as a Procurement Analyst II, providing procurement support across broad areas of the organization and lines of business.

What you will do:

• Perform day-to-day purchasing for assigned areas.
• Develop and process purchase orders and invoices.
• Support team efforts to identify and source appropriate vendors.
• Request quotes and negotiate with vendors to improve pricing and delivery options; may prepare bid packages.
• Strive to achieve the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability and the vendor’s ability to meet required schedules.
• Prepare reports on vendor performance, contract status, modifications and renewals.
• Identify and resolve and/or escalate contract, delivery and other performance issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of all contracting documentation.
• Review onsite inventory levels and issue and/or modify orders for stock replenishment.
• Support expense management, service level and excess inventory reduction goals.
• Measure vendor performance using quantitative data, based on cost, quality and service level metrics.
• Prepare and update supplier and service information
• Develops and recommends procurement process improvement ideas.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business or supply chain field.
• Prior experience (3-4 years) in sourcing, purchasing, contract negotiation, vendor management or related  field. 
• Preferred experience in IT, Hardware and Software.
