Analyst - Marketing

Arena Investors, LP ("Arena") is a global investment management firm that pursues a multi-strategy investment process with a wide opportunity set. The firm has a unique depth of experience (with the senior Managing Directors having an average of over 20 years of experience in their respective areas), and the firm also presents a unique opportunity in that it is early in its growth, having been formed as a new entity approximately five years ago by Chief Executive Officer Daniel Zwirn.

Arena manages money for institutional investors (eg, insurance companies, endowments and foundations, etc). That capital is used to offer flexible solutions for counterparties who find themselves in "special situations" (eg, time constraints, distress, out-of-favor industry or geography). Arena is looking to expand the Business Development team, through the addition of an Analyst. In this role, this individual would be responsible for the production and dissemination of client and marketing related materials. The individual role would ideally be based at the firm's office in Jacksonville, Florida, but remote locations are open for consideration. The role also offers upside opportunity within the team and the firm more broadly.

Responsibilities:

• Own the process for producing client reporting and marketing materials.
• Aid in responses to ad-hoc client and marketing requests.
• Other investor relations and due diligence support.

Requirements

The individual will have demonstrated an ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with an ability to think broadly about the business, incorporating continual improvement of processes and procedures with a goal of excellence while focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree, including analytically oriented major and/or focus of coursework, ideally in finance/economics.
• Analytical skills (eg, comfortable with excel analysis, data management, manipulation, computation and visualization).
• Computer science background not required but prefer someone who is technically saavy.
• Strong process/project management.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The highest level of personal integrity and ethical standards.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to work collaboratively across the organization.
