Job Description
The Marketing Analyst is accountable for providing the analytics and insights driving LL Flooring's marketing activities and communications, as well as determining the overall effectiveness of these tactics. As an individual with strong analytical and story-telling skills, you will be a key contributor helping to convey marketing's impact and influence in driving business results. You will be responsible for analyzing a comprehensive suite of marketing tactics utilizing data from multiple sources to drive business strategy, specifically: improving customer acquisition and retention, marketing effectively and efficiently, and delivering optimum customer experience. This role will partner with Marketers and other business entities to advise budget allocation/mix and recommend the next best dollar spent based on objectives. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment with a high degree of individual responsibility. This person will have an analytical mindset and be adept at translating highly technical information to a non-technical audience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the marketing measurement framework in close collaboration with the key stakeholders in Brand Strategy, Marketing, Merchandising, and/or e-commerce
- Support the implementation of an integrated marketing measurement framework (tools, processes, people, partners), making sure that the information is available in real-time to all global and local stakeholders
- Maintain a clear understanding of all relevant data - analyze and synthesize data to answer complex questions and provide clear analyses and actionable findings
- Leverage the Marketing Mix Model (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) to measure the effectiveness of marketing spend and recommend shifts to optimize
- Present insights and data-based recommendations to grow business, increase effectiveness, and improve the ROI of digital and traditional media
- Consult with internal marketing and segment teams on analytical issues, such as audience targeting, modeling, segmentation, tagging, and reporting
- Collaborate with marketing teams across channels to ensure alignment and coordination on marketing goals and initiatives
- Work closely with external partners-traditional media agency, digital media agency, data management platform provider(s), analytics partners
- Develop measurement strategies that tie organizational objectives to digital measurement solutions
- Maintain constant awareness of deliverables; keep the team focused on short-term and long-term milestones
- Advise on test planning to ensure results from testing efforts are clean and rigorous
- Lead efforts to provision data for and maintain dashboards in platforms such as Tableau and Google Data Studio
- Assist with A/B test design and analyses aimed to improve customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related areas from an accredited four-year college or university, required
Related Experience, Qualifications and/or Certifications:
- 3-5 years of marketing analytics experience, with a proven track record of delivering insights.
- Data visualization experience (ex. Tableau, Looker, Data Studio)
- Experience leveraging web analytics packages such as Adobe/Omniture or Google Analytics
- Proven strategic and analytic thinker plus tactical reporting and measurement implementer
- Strong coalition-builder and interpersonal communicator
Preferred Qualifications:
- Corporate retail experience
- Data visualization experience (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI)
Computer Skills / Special Equipment Knowledge:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience leveraging web analytics packages such as Adobe/Omniture or Google Analytics
- Knowledgeable in HRIS and applicant tracking systems
