Network Certification Services (NCS) is part of American Express Network and Acquirer Solutions. The team is primarily responsible for enabling customers on American Express internal systems, establishing connectivity between customers and the American Express network, certification (host authorizations, clearing and settlement, product, terminal, etc.). Our main customers are vendors, processors, network issuers and acquirers. The mission of NCS is to ensure our business partners can successfully transact with the American Express Global Network according to American Express specifications, rules, and regulations.
How will you make an impact in this role?
The NCS analyst will lead certification efforts within an agile framework ensuring customers can successfully connect to and complete transactions on the American Express Global Network. The successful candidate will understand the relevant financial message specifications which guide the vendor/partner in developing functionality supported by the American Express network.
- Leverage current experience of working within an Agile Framework delivering value to customers, key partners, and colleagues in support of the certification and onboarding journey.
- Understand how to work with American Express certification tools and platforms.
- Translate technical details and requirements, as defined within American Express specification documents, to non-technical business partners.
- Validate certification test results.
- Support the customer in resolving testing errors experienced during the certification process.
- Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities experienced during the certification.
- Communicate actions necessary to resolve risks, issues, and changes related to certification.
- Fun and positive attitude.
- Sense of humor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Speak Spanish fluently
- Experience using Rally
- Experience using Salesforce
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
