Analyst, Omni Data (Supply Chain)

SUMMARY

The Omni-Channel Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the Omni Channel Fulfillment Center with Logistics, Demand, and Labor forecasts. This role will also perform complex analyses to inform partners across many cross functional teams on the performance of Omni-Channel Fulfillment and any opportunities to optimize efficiency and customer service. This role requires strong technical skills to enable the creation of new analyses/models which can aide in providing new customer insights and drive efficiency across the omni supply chain along with the skilled communication required to turn those technical analyses into recommendations and action.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
• Logistics and Merchandise Flow Planning - Forecast the flow of goods throughout the Omni-Channel Fulfillment Center of JOANN's Supply Chain. Integrate the logistics and financial planning processes with the cross functional team members and business planning processes/systems. Ensure product movement strategies are implemented and supported.
• Create and maintain modelling tools and reporting - Complete regularly scheduled reporting on time, and create new reports, all with stakeholders in mind. Locate operational inefficiencies and provide new tools and analytical ideas to solution while communicating impacts in simple terms for review by corporate leadership. Utilize all available technical resources to develop highly automated reporting. Utilizes querying and statistical languages (Ex Python, R, SQL) to create models capable of large-scale analysis. Innovates new ways to view macro-economic impacts to JOANN Supply chain and provide actionable measures of impact along with recommendations to minimize that impact. Completes 'what-if' analyses of complex strategic supply chain changes to provide a real-world perspective of outcomes. Gathers data and perspectives from multiple cross functional teams and critically evaluates/cleans data to achieve desired inputs.• Ad Hoc Analyses - Complete analyses as needs arise with accuracy and clarity. Ensure timelines are being met to deliver reporting on time. Communicate challenges and changes to timelines and to management and stakeholders.

• Extensive knowledge of shipping and distribution channels.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.• Quantitative analysis expertise• Critical-thinking skills• Experience and comfort with utilizing some or all of the following platforms/languages/ERS Systems: SQL, VBA, Python, SAP, Webfocus, HANA Studio

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.

Experience Minimum: 2+ years practical retail experience in Logistics, Replenishment or Supply chain. Advanced Microsoft Excel User. Intermediate SQL knowledge. Experience with report and tool building

Experience Preferred: 3-5 years Retail Analytics experience in e-commerce
