Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The Management Reporting team provides timely, accurate, informative reporting focused on enabling data driven decision making, measuring performance, and communicating US WM Operation's story. The Operation Analyst II will partner with Operations resources to collect, identify, analyze, and interpret business data using various techniques to meet the organization's business needs and requirements. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.
What will you do?
- Works directly with Operations leaders to identify the analytical needs and requirements of the business.
- Participates in business requirement development, UAT testing, and end-user training
- Collects, identifies, and analyzes business data to review and evaluate the organization's business performance.
- Transforms complex business data into an easy-to-understand format for use in decision making by Operations leadership.
- Designs, develops, implements, and maintains business solutions based on business analysis outcomes to improve the organization's business effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develops and maintains user guides, documentation, and department procedures
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent or High school diploma or equivalent AND 5+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job specific industry experience
- 3+ years prior securities, banking, technology and/or job specific related industry experience
- 2+ years demonstrated project team coordination and/or coaching/mentoring leadership experience
- Advanced knowledge related to business lines, business strategy, needs and technology
- Series 7 or 99 or ability to obtain in 120 days
Nice-to-have
- 3+ years business process redesign, robotics & AI, VBA development, MS Access development, analysis and/or risk control experience
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge and understanding of brokerage/financial operations, vendor management, and/or systems experience
