As the Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for participating in designing and implementing new or enhanced payroll system functionality for the U.S. and Canadian payroll. You will run payrolls and provide production support by troubleshooting and resolving issues and end user input errors. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Partner with the payroll analyst team in performing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll calculation runs
  • Process payroll in compliance with federal, multi-state wage and hour laws
  • Coordinate bonus runs with finance, compensation and applicable business units
  • Prepare payments for executive compensation plans
  • Run weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly payroll audit queries to ensure employee records are accurate
  • Act as functional payroll system super user and participate in creating and maintaining core system tables
  • Collaborate with HR, HRIS, Benefits, Legal, HRIT and other business partners to test enhancements, including preparing test scripts, communicating results to the development team and maintaining test logs
  • Implement upgrades and system enhancements; verify successful integration of the project into the existing production site and monitor the continuing support/maintenance of the new application functionality
  • Train end users on new systems, system changes and enhancements as needed
  • Create and maintain documentation for new business processes

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of experience in HRIS and/or payroll administration

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
  • 4 years of experience in HRIS and/or payroll administration
  • Payroll or HRIS experience in a large, multinational company
