Analyst, Performance Improvement - Advisory Services

The Performance Improvement Team is responsible for selling, creating, and delivering solutions and professional services to meet client needs. With mentorship from their direct supervisor, the Analyst will work closely with healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, and health systems) on financial and operational improvements. Through thoughtful and excellent communication, the analyst will both identify and present problem areas, and provide appropriate solutions to clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
An Analyst, Performance Improvement will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
• With supervisor oversight, support and participate in engagement initiatives. Examples include:
o Update work plans, issue logs, status reports, and related initiative trackers.
o Review and edit client documents and deliverables
o Assist in preparing for client meetings and provide support during meetings. (e.g., agendas, minutes, scribing, etc)
o Participate and support detailed analyses to help identify specific opportunities for improvement, as well as implementation recommendations
o Support and coordinate client communications and scheduling activities
• Displaying creativity and critical thinking in solving problems and quickness to comprehend new analysis techniques
• Taking initiative and quickly build confidence in analytical, communication, and quality assurance skills for work products and client delivery
• Assisting in completing detailed financial analysis, statistical reports, visualizations, process flow and presentations for both internal team and client review
• Partnering with PI team members to implement advisory solutions and demonstrate the value of the solution throughout the client engagement
• Utilizing PI solution methodologies and best practices to complete project tasks
• Collaborating with Nordic team members to deliver high quality and timely results to clients
• Maintaining a positive, professional attitude and proactive approach
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree required, with a preference in business, healthcare administration, industrial engineering or related field
• Excellent financial, economic, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and/or Access
• Knowledge in at least one of the following is preferred: SQL, PowerBI, Python
• Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's maxims
• Flexible; able to quickly adapt to working with different employees, clients, and changing priorities
• Exceptional organization skills with good attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to seek out, analyze, and solve novel problems
• Strong customer service skills
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
• Relocation to Madison, WI, is not required
• Travel up to 50%-60% of the time
