Team Description
We are seeking a seasoned Analyst Relations and Market Intelligence Leader to join our team and lead our efforts to build and manage relationships with key industry analysts and influencers. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global strategy for engaging with key industry analysts from top-tier firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC while ensuring accurate positioning of Pendo’s solution guidance management with boutique firms as well. Additionally, this role will include developing and executing on strategies to expand and maintain Pendo’s position on peer review sites like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights; owning and overseeing a strategic market win/loss program providing information to senior leadership, product management, and sales; and collaborating with industry experts to execute successful demand generation initiatives leveraging analyst reports and research.

Your expertise, initiative, strategic approach, and resourcefulness will be fundamental in enhancing Pendo’s visibility, market leadership, and innovation across the market.
- Evolve and execute Pendo's annual strategic analyst relations plan to inform and support product and market strategy and market positioning to drive pipeline and category leadership.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key industry analysts, ensuring Pendo is top-of-mind and accurately represented in the analyst community as well as favorably positioned in analyst evaluations.
- Analyze insights from analyst interactions to guide strategic company decisions, staying ahead of market trends and competitive dynamics. Leverage these insights to develop tools that support the sales process.
- Lead internal teams in creating and delivering a consistent message to the analyst community, enhancing our market positioning and ensuring analyst presentations align with our strategic objectives and market position.
- Assess the strategic market and competitive landscape to identify product gaps, competitive threats, and strategic opportunities; provide executive leadership, product/engineering and sales management with input into strategic planning and product/roadmap planning.
- Track the impact of AR activities, using metrics to demonstrate their impact on Pendo's market standing and business goals.
- Develop and maintain programs on peer review sites, ensuring Pendo is favorably positioned.
- Collaborate with marketing on demand generation and communications programs leveraging analyst reports and research and peer review site quotes and insights to further Pendo’s image in the market.
Minimum Qualifications Â
- Over 7 years of experience leading analyst relations at B2B SaaS companies and working with Tier 1 analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester and IDC as well as top-rated boutique analyst firms
- Strategic thinker who can synthesize product and corporate strategy for an external analyst audience and similarly share third-party insights back with cross-functional internal audiences, including senior executives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage and influence analysts and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional teamwork and influencing skills, with the ability to work with others cross-functionally and at all levels within the organization
- Experience developing project plans and driving cross-functional program management
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Strong program and relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and projects with precision.
- Experience with peer review sites like G2, TrustRadius, Gartner Peer Insights, and Gartner Digital Markets.
- Experience with setting up and running competitive win/loss analysis programs.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:
Raleigh, NC - USD $135,000 - $155,000
Remote - USD $140,000 - $160,000
San Francisco Bay Area, CA - USD $145,000 - USD $165,000
New York City, NY - USD $145,000 - USD $165,000
Colorado - USD $140,000 - $160,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
