Your Impact
As an Analyst, Revenue Operations, you will collect, review and analyze core metrics to help uncover revenue opportunities. You will focus on both demand and supply - tracking advertiser trends and audience/product performance.
As part of the Revenue Analytics team, this group is charted with understanding our workflow, systems, and the data they generate. You'll use this data to highlight advertiser spending trends and sales team performance. You'll work closely with Sales/Finance leadership to report this performance on an ongoing basis.
You'll also be tasked with understanding the performance of our ad products and monetization experiences. Your team will track monetization trends across our portfolio to make recommendations on ad experiences and monetization strategies.
In the role, you will dive into data, build reports and communicate opportunities to our stakeholders. Insights can create outcomes, and we aim to provide intelligence to help drive collaborative discussion and prioritization across the Revenue operation.
What You'll Do
- Work with the Manager, Revenue Analytics to build a comprehensive reporting practice, providing transparency across our "pitch to pay" lifecycle in Advertising sales. Identify actionable insights to aid in increased revenue opportunities.
- Distribute regular reporting that provides a holistic view of inventory, and monetization metrics.
- Evaluate ad product performance. Provide new insights to our Product, Sales and Finance leadership teams. Develop a deep understanding of our ad product experiences to suggest optimization opportunities, balancing great user experience and monetization.
- Partner with Finance teams to balance needs between financial reporting, and operational analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Proactively lead analytics-based projects and or processes. Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly business review presentations for executive leadership.
- Work with business stakeholders and engineering teams to QA data, identify gaps and contribute to changes in business processes and data pipelines to fix data gaps. Provide prioritization of those efforts to create efficient data sets, allowing for either investigative analytics or repeatable reporting for the organization.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of all primary source data: SalesForce (CRM), AdPoint (OMS), ad server data transfer files (GAM), and any other sources that help us better understand how our advertisers meet our audiences.
Who You Are
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience. Masters Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years digital advertising, yield, or analytics experience. 3-4 years work experience.
- Deep understand of digital web analytics, audience and automated buying channels.
- Experience with Excel and SQL
- Must have strong written and verbal skills.
- Highly competent user of Excel, Salesforce and other reporting platforms.
- Ability to "see past the numbers", adapt to change and effectively explain concepts to audiences with varying levels of experience/understanding
This role requires the position to be located in New York with an in-office presence of 2+ days a week.
The base salary for this role is between $64,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
