Responsible for assisting and supporting management in the evaluation, recommendation, establishment, implementation and analysis of market, membership, financial and prospect information.
- Identify, plan, develop, modify and implement new or existing reports as assigned.
- Analyze data and information; plan, design and implement analytical projects and studies of the
- sales and financial markets.
- Conduct membership trend analysis and ongoing competitive assessment of various business and market segments, customers, prospects, providers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate and provide technical support for membership forecasting, sales planning and sales incentive program.
- Responsive for qualifying new and existing businesses prospects for BCBSM health care coverage.
- Other duties may be assigned.
"Qualifications"
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Information Systems or related area preferred.
- Two (2) years experience in an analytical, research or management information position in service, health or sales related industry required. Project planning and familiarity with the client server environment preferred
- Knowledge of competitors, health care pricing and product development, market research methods and techniques, statistical analysis and market planning.
- Knowledge and use of existing software packages.
- Strong problem solving, presentation, analytical and communication skills.
- Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
