Analyst, Securities Lending (Hybrid)

Summary:

Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for handling and processing transactions for the Securities Finance collateral team for Equities, Fixed Income and FED trades. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the Securities Lending product and the process flow.

Major Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, responsibility for handling and supporting routine transactions and support functions including:

• Ensures timely settlement of collateral and releasing of loans
• Process and review of daily mark to markets
• Reconciliation of accounts

• Works with internal teams as well as outside counterparties in an environment that encourages employee participation, engagement, and effective communication.
• Work within the securities lending operations group and follow procedures, guidelines and best practices.
• Work with partners in Chicago as well as our Bangalore office.
• Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• College or University degree and / or relevant Securities Operations / stock loans work experience is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Works well in team setting and can multi-task
• Time management skills are required as this role is highly sensitive to daily cutoffs
