Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Interpret various inbound documents including investment management agreements, strategy changes, liquidations, etc.
• Input data into various systems including business process management tools, portfolio accounting systems and trade order management software (APL).
• Rebalance client portfolios in accordance with strategic model changes or client directed transactions.
• Reconcile accounts, holdings and transactions to identify and correct potential risk outliers.
• Settle trades executed through counterparties and ensure positions are correctly reflected in the client's custodial account.
• Escalates non-routine problems in asset management operational processes to more senior analysts.

Nuveen is seeking an Analyst, SMA Investment Operations for the Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) Operations Team. The position's duties may include onboarding new client accounts, rebalancing equity portfolios or reconciling various data elements with custodians. The candidate may also learn the foundations of the trade settlements processes across multiple platforms. This is an excellent entry point to a career in Financial Services.

• Solid problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes.
• Detail oriented and extremely thorough - having the confidence to ensure work processes are completed accurately.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel).

Base Pay Range: $30.61/hr. - $51.02/hr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
