About the Role:
Perpay is seeking a Strategic Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in developing and optimizing data analytics strategies. As we introduce new products, including a credit card, we are looking for an individual who can navigate data complexities and contribute data-driven insights to decision-making processes.
As a Data Analyst at Perpay, you will be instrumental in understanding and leveraging data to support our strategic initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to build foundational skills in data analysis, supporting our evolving product line. We are looking for an individual with a keen interest in analytics, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Use SQL and other relevant tools to perform data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, focusing on implementing data-driven strategies tailored to our multi-product environment
- Ability to translate complex analytical projects into concrete business recommendations
- Support various projects and initiatives aligned with the company’s goals, emphasizing the integration of data analytics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders, offering insights derived from data to enhance operational processes
- Communicate information effectively using data visualization tools and reports
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business problems into technical logic
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics)
- 2+ years of experience or relevant coursework in data analysis or a related field
- Basic analytical skills with a willingness to learn and apply insights
- Solid written and oral communication skills, particularly around presenting clear and actionable recommendations with decision-makers without neglecting nuance and uncertainty
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
Bonus:
- Expertise using SQL for acquiring and transforming data
- Experience with data visualization tools e.g. Domo, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Python preferred)
- Experience with code reviews and version control (Git, Github)
