What Will You Be Doing?
The Analyst of Strategic Sourcing role is an integral part of the department, responsible for aiding in managing the various strategic sourcing and cost saving initiatives throughout the organization, including gathering project requirements, researching vendors, issuing RFPs/RFQs, financial modeling, contract negotiation, contract management as well as providing support to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing for various ad hoc forecasting and financial analysis projects that are frequently required by senior management. PLEASE NOTE: This is an analyst-level role, but can be elevated to Analyst II or Senior Analyst based on required experience.
Essential Functions
- Gather project requirements from internal customers, develop internal business cases, and create a consensus on key requirements
- Analyze market to identify potential suppliers and screen their capabilities
- Issue and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to suppliers, and manage the RFP process
- Create financial models for strategic sourcing projects to facilitate the contract approval process
- Analyze key contracts with manufacturers such as Lufthansa Technik, Airbus, and SABRE and support contract management on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to measure contract adherence and improve vendor performance
- Assist in developing finance and business presentations such as Board of Director presentations and lenders' presentations
- Analyze current contracts for risk mitigation along with financial and operational improvement opportunities
Other Functions
- Assist with fleet-related projects including financial modeling, contract negotiation, execution and management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience required depending on Analyst position.
- Experience in maintenance and MRO related aspects of airlines preferred
- Previous airline experience preferred
- Prior experience reading, interpreting and negotiation contracts preferred

General Supervision: The incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.

Analyst I: $43,000.00 - $67,725.00
Analyst II: $60,200.00 - $75,250.00
Senior Analyst: $65,000.00 - $93,525.00
