Analyst/Associate, Operations

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks an Analyst/Associate to join our Operations Team. 

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the automation of daily task and procedures
• Daily reconciliation of trades, cash, NAV, and positions
• Supporting clearing and settlement processes across asset classes: Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, and Crypto
• Prematching of trades and fails management for various markets
• EOD trade processing and reporting of daily PnL for various markets
• Liaising with vendors for troubleshooting and improvements
• Working with different trading and support teams for daily operational issues

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or other related fields
• At least 1 to 5 years of experience working in trading operations or dev operations within financial services
• Strong Python experience required
• SQL experience a plus 
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Aptitude and desire to learn new things and quickly adapt
• Knowledge of fee landscape a plus

Anticipated annual base salary range $90,000 - 120,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
