  • Assess claims based on contractual, medical, and occupational criteria.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with plan sponsors, participants, healthcare providers, and internal specialists to support return-to-work outcomes.
  • Draft clear and accurate correspondence explaining decisions and coverage information using strong analytical reasoning.
  • Demonstrate empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence when communicating sensitive or complex claim decisions.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation consultants and medical advisors to support sustainable recovery and workplace reintegration strategies.

  • Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical abilities with healthcare or insurance experience and a deep sense of empathy in client-facing situations.

    • Fully bilingual in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across Canada.
    • Post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field or equivalent professional experience considered an asset.
    • Experience or familiarity with disability case management or group insurance is an advantage.
    • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
    • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
    • Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls in a professional and empathetic manner.
    • Ability to assess complex situations involving medical, functional, and psychosocial factors.
    • Strong written communication skills for formal correspondence and case documentation.
    • Ability to remain composed and compassionate when delivering difficult decisions.

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range: $52,650 – $87,750 CAD annually
      • Eligibility for performance-based incentives and bonus programs
      • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, and mental health support
