Analysts, Business Systems

American Express Travel Related Services seeks Analysts, Business Systems to perform business requirement analysis, define business needs, and document new business requirements for company's systems, including the US online travel platform. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for website improvement, maintaining online platform with recommendations made by leadership team. Drive resolution of critical production issues across cross-functional teams, and track and report on website issues affecting platform performance. Escalate production issues focusing on impact, severity, and related data, enabling leadership team to make appropriate business decisions. Collaborate with release manager for each technology partner in ensuring defect fixes are appropriately prioritized.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with web-based internet applications, leveraging web and data analytics. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with data visualization tools; 1 year of experience with production issue queues, and with allocating work tickets to the support analysts; 1 year of experience with identifying application and system issues to improve availability and performance for the customers; 1 year of experience with root cause analysis, as well as developing, supporting, and testing web-based application, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT); and 1 year of experience with C, DB2, Hibernate, Hive, Java, JBoss, Oracle, Rally, RDBMS, relational databases, ServiceNow, SQL, and Teradata. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week.

Salary Range: $114,837.00 - $150,000.00 annually
