American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payments for corporations and businesses of all sizes globally. The US SME (Small Medium Enterprise) segment is the largest opportunity for growth in GCS and a key area of strategic focus and investment.

The Managed Client Expansion and Engagement Marketing team delivers marketing strategy to US SME Tele and Account Development teams who grow spend and engagement with our customers through consultative business-centric dialogue. This individual will support the strategy to drive channel performance for the Tele and Account Development channels through the design and delivery of customer marketing strategy including segmentation, targeting, and messaging. To deliver this strategy, partnership with our other marketing teams, pricing, analytics, and US SME partners will be essential.

The Analyst/Sr Analyst, Managed Client Expansion and Engagement Marketing, will support the Manager in developing and executing marketing strategies designed to nurture business accounts, generate leads, and fuel engagement with our Tele and Account Development teams. This role involves complex campaign execution, results analytics, and a deep understanding of how marketing capabilities can drive efficiency. They will collaborate closely with a variety of partners across the organization, including Sales, Analytics, Technology and Product. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a transformational strategy for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage end-to-end campaign execution by partnering with internal stakeholders, including advertising agency partners, legal and compliance, technology.
  2. Proactively craft data-driven recommendations to optimize existing digital campaigns, or test into new areas.
  3. Ensure leads that request appointments are delivered to the appropriate channels.
  4. Create weekly tracking and reporting for digital campaigns
  5. Keep pulse on digital marketing, email and omni-channel trends and best practices to champion a modern, relevant experience.
  6. Own team budget and internal payment process.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Digital marketing, sales enablement and/ or lead generation experience
  • Comfortable searching for opportunities to add value in white space
  • Superior attention to detail to ensure end to end flawless execution
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and derive insight
  • Ability to build relationships and partner with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task, and operate autonomously
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint/Excel (Salesforce MarketingCloud a plus).
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
