Analytical Scientist

Job Description

• Develop analytical methods on PXRD, DLS, DSC, TGA and DVS for projects assigned by AR&D as per agreed stipulated time.
• Repot preparation as per agency/customers and legal requirements. 
• Validate different analytical methods (from Raw material stage to Finished product) using PXRD, DLS, DSC, TGA and DVS in order to have ready to use analytical methods for internal (for e.g., QC) & external customers.
• Transfer the validated analytical methods to Q.C., explain the critical parameters involved & troubleshoot when required to facilitate smooth product scale up.
• Maintain GLP (good laboratory practices) & GDP (good documentation practices) in the analytical laboratory to adhere to SOPs & compliance.
• Addressing plant investigations, regulatory queries and litigation queries related to PXRD, DLS, DSC, TGA and DVS techniques.
• Maintenance of the solid-state and scattering instruments and coordination with vendor during breakdown. 

Qualifications

• M.Sc./M. Pham with 6 to 10 years of research experience on the characterisation of pharmaceutical materials using DLS, X-ray-Diffraction and Thermal techniques.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills & Networking internally and externally.
• Experience in handling of API, Solid oral and Injectable products.
• Understanding and execution of in-vitro population bio-equivalency studies.
