Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Analytical Scientist in Advanced Characterization Structural Elucidation Team (ACT-SEL) for utilizing sophisticated analytical techniques and instruments to investigate the composition, structure, and properties of substances at a molecular and atomic level. To Support Structural Elucidation across all modalities and mechanism elucidation into Research & Development and to study release of drugs substance and structure of unknown Impurities through various method development and validation techniques.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible to employ advanced analytical techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Ultraviolet- Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and other specialized spectroscopic techniques to analyse and characterize materials.
• Responsible for the execution of experiments, data analysis, report preparation. 
• Responsible to ensure adherence to quality control standards and regulatory requirements in all analytical processes, maintaining high standards of accuracy, precision, and reliability in data generation and analysis.
• Responsible to troubleshoot instrument-related issues and perform routine maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment.
• Responsible to adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines while handling hazardous materials and operating complex analytical instruments. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and best laboratory practices. 

Qualifications

Educational qualification: MS in Pharmaceutical Analysis/Post Graduation in (Pharma/Physics/Chemistry) OR Ph.D (Chemistry) 
Minimum work experience: Post Graduation with 3-8 years of experience/ Ph.D. with 0-1 years of experience 
Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills

• Knowledge related to Spectroscopy techniques specially Raman spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), including Imaging data processing, Ultraviolet- Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Fluorescence spectroscopy etc.
• In depth knowledge of Multivariate data analysis and its application to image data processing to draw qualitative and quantitative information.
• Able to manage work within timeline, Excellent communication skills and able to work in collaborative approach as well as with stakeholders.

• Good understanding of GMP requirements, Support to audits, Handling an incident, CC, deviation and expertise in investigation, and Validation for Global markets, US-FDA regulatory response, Supplement validation for gaps in existing validations.

• Ability to take responsibility for new instrument Qualifications IQ, OQ and PQ.

• Experience in Instrument Calibration & trouble shooting.
