About this opportunity!

We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated candidate who excels in storytelling and possesses strong technical expertise in developing reports using business intelligence tools, like Power BI. The ideal candidate should also have a validated understanding of business finance, enabling effective analysis and presentation of financial progress. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in crafting and redefining the financial analytical framework for the leadership team of an organizational unit.

As an Analytics Architect you would be required to report the financial progress of the organization. This role will require predominantly working BI tools like Power BI, tableau, SSIS, etc. and with SQL/other relevant databases. Typically, they will collaborate with leadership, appropriate decision makers, relevant stakeholders, and supporting finance units.

What you will do

• Review, analyze, and report on the Financial Progress of the organizational unit.
• Translate sophisticated financial data into insightful and compelling narratives.
• Deliver actionable advice and recommendations based on findings to drive financial performance improvements.
• Utilize your technical proficiency in Power BI to develop visually appealing and informative reports.
• Leverage SQL and other databases for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
• Interface with leadership teams, decision makers, stakeholders, and supporting finance units to gather requirements and provide valuable insights.

This position reports to the Head of Financial Reporting & Cost Mngt

You will bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Analytics. Minor in Finance is added advantage.
• Technical background or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience from relevant position within Ericsson or relevant position at an external company giving the ability to act and perform the duties of the role Financial Analyst.
• Experience in Reporting Tools like SSRS, PowerBI, QlikView or other such tools
• Strong SQL skills is a must.
• Advance Excel Skills
• Experience with other scripting languages like Python is preferred.
