General Summary:

This position will join a technology team within the Finance organization at Unum. Reporting to the Director of Analytics Enablement, this position will support initiatives to enhance our internal Business Intelligence governance, reporting, & auditability. Our department supports the nearly 600-person Finance organization modernize and transform their processes using data & analytics solutions. We specialize in bringing Tableau and Alteryx to this broad and diverse audience with many unique data challenges. We also administer the use and governance of these tools, and this intern will be uniquely positioned to accelerate our development of Platform Analytics.

Meet with stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver results against a plan to automate and enhance our Platform Analytics capabilities. Learn Alteryx and Tableau, how to interact with our Data Warehouse in Teradata, and become a part of our planning & transformation organization.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.

Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
