Android Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support our media and e-commerce Android app.
• Follows best practices in software development. Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping.
• Work closely with other teams to understand their needs and develop a solution to fulfil it.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subject.
• 2 years+ working experience in Android development.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with third-party libraries, particularly open source.
• Understanding of Android UX, Material design and development best practices.
• Knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, MVVM, REST, Android Jetpack, version control, submodule.
• Experience with CICD, UI testing, automated testing will be a plus.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Familiarity working with Cloud-based technologies, preferably Firebase.
• Supporting and advising product managers about technical decisions and their impact.
• Pro-active and self-disciplined.
