Android Developer

TextNow is looking for an Android Developer to join our Revenue team, working to improve our Ads systems to improve the user experience while increasing revenue. 

What You'll Do

• Work with our AdOps team to develop new ad solutions to provide increasing value to advertisers 
• Collaborate with our Product team to ensure a high-quality user experience around our ads 
• Debug performance issues with ad units and work with ad providers to resolve them 
• Suggest and implement improvements to the ads code architecture 
• Be a leader in our larger Android team, establishing and encouraging best practices throughout the organization 

Who You Are

• An Android developer with 2+ years of Android development experience, particularly in Kotlin 
• Passionate about Ads development, even if Ads development is new to you 
• Able to balance and advocate for both the business needs of revenue generation and a positive user experience
• Self-motivated to drive projects to completion 
• A good communicator
