Android Engineers

Job Description:

Perform software engineering duties and collaborate with team members which include engineering, product, and operations to build and release features/ products to production at an extremely fast pace. Be part of a team that releases native apps every week and web features throughout the day. Build impactful features for the company’s customers and pros. Breakdown a feature into releasable chunks, estimate the release schedule, and work on the feature. Contribute to the architectural and design decisions and articulate the impact of those decisions. Perform code and design reviews and evangelize best engineering practices. Solve impactful business problems. Be part of the production team’s on-call rotation.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Four (4) years of experience developing mobile applications for Android using Android studio.
3. Additional experience must include
   • Java and Kotlin
   • Building complex layouts and User Interfaces (UIs)
   • Using RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to backend services
   • Writing unit test and testable code.
   • SQLite database
   • Programming languages, databases, operating systems, data structures, algorithms, and complexity trade-offs
   • Tooling, including Git, Reactive Programming libraries, Jira, and CI/CD tooling
4. Telecommuting is available for this position.
5. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Salary range: $134,000 - $144,000
