Android Mobile Application Developer
Job Description
Location: Chantilly, VA and/or Alexandria, VA (remote at the moment due to COVID)
Clearance: United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is required
Node has a client that is looking to support the development and deployment of enterprise mobile applications.
Responsibilities: The Mobile App Developer will be responsible for developing enterprise mobile applications (Android) in a small dedicated team of developers
Minimum skills and qualifications:
- At least 1 year of object-oriented software development experience
- At least 1 year of mobile application (native or mobile web app) experience or enterprise web application development.
- Experience with developing and utilizing RESTful web services (Java, .NET, or NodeJS)
- Experience working with small to medium development teams
- Experience with object-oriented design and development
- Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
- Strong sense of ownership and drive
- BS in Computer Science, related discipline or significant mobile/web related technology experience
- Position requires US Citizenship and will be required to undergo a security background investigation for this work
- Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Public Clearance
Requirements
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Experience with cross-platform mobile application development (PhoneGap/Cordova/Ionic)
- Experience with responsive web application design (Bootstrap)
- Experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Ember, Knockout, Backbone)
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Extreme Programming, TDD, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing
- Experience with Java, Spring Framework, and SQL Server
